July 23, 2013 - This afternoon, the Vice President of Thai Nguyen University, A/Prof. Dr. Dang Van Minh, had a meeting with the representatives leaded by Juan Antonio from the University of Malaga, Spain
At the meeting, the two universities had a very successful discussion about some opportunities that can cooperate in the near future. Professor Juan Antonio, vice Principle of Malaga University, also emphasized strongly on the subjects of Spanish language, biotechnology and sustainability, which are the most advanced areas of his university.
The University of Malaga, founded in 1972, is a public institution which produces and transfers knowledge while providing higher education services through the teaching staff and research tasks in a setting that features technological, cultural, and tourist activities. 40 years after its founding, UMA has more than 35,000 students, 58 Bachelor's Programmes, 53 Master's Programmes, 278 research groups and 45 registered patents in 2011.
The meeting ended up with the signing of the MoU (Memorandum of Understanding) between the two universities.
